 | KendraSat 27 Feb, 2016 | Wonderful choice!We booked this hotel the day before we left for Santorini as other accommodations had fallen through! The gentleman offered to give us a ride to and from the airport, but also additional modes of transportation! We opted for the 2 Euro local bus and in my opinion this is the way to do it. The hotel is a bit of a walk (10-15 minutes) from central Thira but totally doable and easy as long as you are cautious and aware of your surroundings. But don't let location fool you, the island is a lot smaller then you anticipate and a ten minute walk seems like nothing! At night time, I would caution you slightly as the walk is not well lit. You can, however, take a taxi for very cheap to/from the hotel. When we first arrived at the hotel, the gentleman welcomed us in. He showed us a map and gave us EXCELLENT information about the island--including tourist's favorite things to do, great restaurants and local favorites. He also answered all and any questions we had--he was so accommodating and his wife was nice too! Overall, the hotel had a beautiful view on both sides (from the front door and from the balcony) and was extremely worth it for the price we paid--comfortable, charming, warm, and cozy. Couldn't have been happier with our stay! I would recommend Santo Wines - for a wine tasting - as it was recommended to us by the man who owned this resort. It was probably my favorite thing! I would also recommend doing the volcano/hot springs tour--so wonderful and a beautiful panoramic view of the island from the top of the volcano. Feel free to ask at the front desk for any tips/advice/questions, they are SO willing to help you! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay that isn't in the center of all the hustle and bustle!! I would go back again and again!! | 5 |

A good size room with small ensuite (basic shower) - fridge - safe - TV (local channels) and DVD. Our room had two large balconies. Bed linen and towels very clean and changed regularly. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The breakfast was basic. Very friendly staff. Great good sized pool which was immaculate - cleaned daily. Only disadvantage is the uphill trek to the town on basic country roads which could be a bit hairy with coaches and lorries trundling past particularly coming home in the dark. However given the location the hotel is very peaceful and good value for money. I would definitely recommend and visit again. | 5 |

For international travelers who do not bring their own beach towels due to luggage weight and space restrictions, it is a bit inconvenient not to be provided with pool/beach towels. Possibly a different color pool/beach towel could be provided as opposed to normal white bathroom towels. (A hotel in Mykonos where we stayed had this arrangement) Guests could agree that if they lost the towel, they would be charged. A minor suggestion could be to have soothing Greek or new age music at a low volume in the breakfast room. It would just add to the experience. | 5 |

They gave a us a feel of the area and do's and don't. We especially enjoyed riding the four wheeler.For an older couple it was exciting. My daughter was surprised that we took upon this challenge.
